These are some strengths that are common to people
who succeed in business and investing:

*Vision--the ability to see what others do not see
*Courage--the ability to act despite fear
*Creativity--the ability to think outside the box
*Self-confidence--the ability to withstand criticism
*Self-control--the ability to delay gratification

Associate with people that can help with strengthen these characteristics.
Disassociate yourself from people that do not encourage the characteristics above. and don't forget to look within. Are there areas in your life where you've exhibited such traits? Nurture them and allow them to spread into your financial life.

How to write headlines that make sales soar Part II

Copyright© Omar Jackson

http://www.profitingforward.com

Using of photography in ads and sales letters, adds a personal touch, but with even more multi media features, such as video on demand and voice recordings. This gives anyone including you or me to reach out there and literally touch potential customers/partners, on sales pages on the internet. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, imagine a whole multimedia approach People are influenced more and more by personal features than ever before, sounds, and mini presentations. Anyone that’s for another topic lets get back to the print media in particular..

How ever photography or any other multimedia features can not replace a Good headline. Because the headline has more responsibility. This is to get the readers into the body of the copy.

Powerful headline words
The safest headline begins with “How To”. It immediately appeals to the reader’s self interest. It piques curiosity. If the benefit is powerful, the reader will move on to the body of copy. You’re involving the reader immediately. Did you know there are over 7,000 books in print with titles that start with “How To”? This phrase cannot be overdone.

Here are 26 other provocative words and phrases to use in your Headlines:

1. Announcing
2. the truth of
3. protect
4. life
5. here
6. discover
7. do you
8. bargains
9. yes
10. love
11. how much
12. how would
13. this
14. only
15. sale
16. hate
17. Secrets of
18. new
19. now
20. amazing
21. facts you
22. breakthrough
23. at last
24. advice to

And finally, the two most powerful headline words

25. Free
26. You

Other important points to note for writing your headlines
1. Avoid headline that create mainly curiosity, ie if the headline does not tie to the product or the benefit derived from using the product, the read will feel deceived and stop reading.
2. The headline most stir an emotion. Where the reader get either excited or fearful or protective. It must motivate
3. You must also use present tense, not the future tense, for added power and life. It adds more “juice” to the promise and makes the promise more credible and believable
4. Use verbs which are colorful, vital and strong. Use short words that create images or pictures.
5. Eliminate most adverbs and adjective; because they belong in longer body copy where you can support them.
6. Do not try to be “catchy” or “cute” as do many copywriters. Always make the product or the service the “hero”, not the copy.

The Paradox of the Porky Pontificator

How to write headlines that Make Sales Soar!
Part I

Copyright© Omar Jackson

http://www.profitingforward.com

To succeed at attracted potential team members or customer Its All about how good do you write an effective headline. Because 90% of success or failure of any sales offer, whether a sales ad or Sales letter, is the Headlines. So I feel very strong about spending ample time on writing an effective headline.

A famous copywriter once said: When you are assigned to write an ad, write a lot of headlines first. Spend hours writing headlines—or days if necessary. If you happen to think of a headline while walking down the street of while riding the bus, take out a pencil and paper and write it down.”
John Caples

What does a good headline do?

An effective headline is important for many reasons. These are as followed:
> Attracts attention;
> Communicates a strong benefit;
> Appeals to the self-interest of the reader. It answers the question, “What’s in it for me?”
> Sets the tone for your offer.

Here are some guidelines I use for the way a headline is written and presented.

>The promise must be believable
> Never use more than 17 words.
> Use quotation marks because it is more memorable.
> Use reverse type sparingly, because it is hard to read.
> Use upper and lower case letter—not all caps—for reading ease.
> If a large photograph is used, place the headline below it.
> Do not vary type size.

How to start writing great headlines………….

Step 1 Step back from the product and identify all the benefits and features of the product---from the buyer’s point of view. Benefits help bring out emotions, which then closes the sale.

Step 2 Then isolate the strongest benefit you can find and put it on a 3 X 5 card, where this will lead you too what is called the “unique selling proposition” USP.

Step 3 Find the hidden benefit, what is that great benefit I’m going to get from you this, compared to what else was out their. For example read this headline “What will You do When the IRS Suddenly wipes Out Your Corporation Tax Shelter Benefits?”
Of Course, the book has narrative information about the importance of keeping good records to maintain the corporate protection. But, while it happens all the time, there is nothing whatsoever in the book about the IRS taking away benefits. That is why its call a hidden benefit. Write as many headline as you can.

Step 4 Test, Test, and Test some more.
It’s important to run new headlines for two reasons:

1. to see if you can beat it, and….
2. every headline eventually becomes tired and you need to change it. But not too soon!

You will get tired of a headline much faster than will your customers. If it is working---never, never, never, never change it—until, or unless, you beat the result with a new headline.

Eight Tips for Starting Your Own Networking Group
Part II

Copyright© Omar Jackson

http://www.profitingforward.com

Tip1

Take the necessary time to talk to people to get the word out about the networking group.

Tip 2

When you visit business owners, don’t talk about the business you are in.
Focus on the benefits that they’ll enjoy as a member of the networking group.

Tip 3

Be consistent in your attendance at your networking meetings.

Tip 4

The group should be nonexclusive. This means that there can be local competitors in the same group. This policy is opposite of what most networking groups practice, but as a result of this policy, the group continues to grow and more referrals are shared.

Tip 5

Invite the local media, such as the phone book sales reps and newspaper sales reps, to be a part of your networking group. You will probably get additional exposure from the media as a result of having media sales reps in your group.

Tip 6

When you run your meetings, make sure that you are cordial. Be sure to include everyone, and don’t be too much of a stickler on allotted time given to each person
in the meeting.

Tip 7

Hold the first meeting in your office, if possible. After the initial organizational meeting, it’s easiest to hold your meetings at a Restaurant. The restaurant owner gets free advertising, and everyone can pitch in for the coffee being served.

Tip 8

Create a sense of group ownership by making sure that any changes in the way the group works or where it meets is by majority vote.

Select a restaurant where you can meet with your networking group on a weekly basis.

Step 2

Step 3

While at the meeting, take a digital picture of everybody in attendance (both a group and individual photo).

Step 4

Ask the attendees to create a list of people whom they might consider inviting to become a member of your group. Then ask them to write down some positive comments about the meeting that you can use in your marketing.

Step 5

Create a flier with the picture of the group of people who attended your first meeting and include some comments from the attendees with their photo.

Step 6

Send several fliers to all the people that attended your first meeting and ask them to give out the flier to all the people on the list that they created in the first networking meeting.

Step 7

Repeat steps four and six until you have 100 or more local professionals and business owners in your networking.

This is me working on my computer in my apartment. I love share with others.
Why you need to be a servant to others!
Copyright© Omar Jackson

http://www.profitingforward.com

Having a servant attitude; means thinking of others always and finding ways you can to help them, not yourself. If you’re always thinking about me, and what “I” can get out of this you’re a selfish person. Don’t get me wrong; we all need to have our me time, but not at the expense of getting over on or belittling somebody else. We have great examples of people with servant attitudes, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Ghandi, Dali Lama, Malcolm X, Desmond Tutu, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Oprah Winfrey and so many more. These individuals have help to make sooo… many peoples life better and have help to shape our world as well as give us examples of how we should live our lives.

Living a life of service is truly a fulfilling life, giving back to your community uplifts not only your community but yourself. Have you ever helped; truly helped someone without looking for a reward or a pat on the back for doing so. I have several times. While I’m writing this and crying because I remembered a long time ago when I was in high school in Jamaica a friend of mine had internal bleeding, because his small intestine was all tied up, I don’t exactly what this condition was called all I knew is that the doctors said he need a lot of Blood, or else he was going to die. An appeal to donate was made to the entire school to help, by going to the blood bank and donate blood to help our fellow, class mate, friend, and student. I stepped up and went to the blood bank to donate at that time I didn’t know I was a universal donor O+, I didn’t know that at the time I just wanted to help.

As a result of a lot of students coming together and donating blood his life was saved. He went on the represent my country in soccer (football) on the world stage where we qualified for the world cup for the first time in the countries history.

You see you never know how you’re going to impact history or the future just by one small act of kindness, just helping someone because it’s the right thing to do. I used to be selfish with my business and the things I learnt over the years, and I realized I was getting nowhere fast in moving my business or my life ahead I had to change how I was looking at my life as well as my business. So I started to apply my servant attitude to my business. I just started “telling instead of selling” my prospect about what I had to offer teaching what I’ve learned from others, just giving away my knowledge to anybody who would listen. The result in my life; has being amazing I felt happier, and our team has built great relationship with each other. I love the direction that life and my business is headed. The future is great because I’ve built my businesses on being a servant first to others that has developed into long lasting relationships.

When you become a servant to others your life will become more successful and in turn so will your business. So you should wakeup every morning asking yourself; “How many people can I HELP today”. Write it down some where you can see it every morning when you wakeup. Because when you write it down and view it everyday it helps you with focus your mind on helping and telling, instead of selling and failing. If you change the way how you look at things, the things you look at change.

Intention the Abundant Source; Tap in with these four steps
Copyright© Omar Jackson

http://www.profitingforward.com

1.

Discipline is the first stage. Learn a new task requires training your body to perform as your thoughts desire. So, eliminating ego identification doesn’t mean disconnecting from your relationship with your body, but rather, training your body to activate those desires. You do that with practice, exercise, nontoxic habits, healthy foods, and so on. In MLM your ego only holds you back or kills your business. But in life if you hold on to that ego it just stifles you from reaching you full potential. You cannot and I repeat cannot do this business like countless others without the proper training and education.

2.

Wisdom is the second stage. Wisdom combined with discipline fosters your ability to focus and be patient as you harmonize your thoughts, your intellect, and your feelings with the work of your body. For example we send our children to school and tell them: Be disciplined and Use your head, and call this education, but it falls short of mastery. To gain the life style you seek, you have to focus, totally and this business and master what the area you intend to focus on, you also have to learn from ones who have done it and are willing to teach you. Become a student of your craft. Wisdom comes with time, so be patient with your self.

3.

Love is the third stage. After disciplining the body with wisdom, and intellectually studying a task, this process of mastery involves loving what you do and doing what you love. In the world of sales, I call it falling in love with what you’re offering, and then selling your love or enthusiasm to potential customers. When learning to play tennis, it involves practicing all of the strokes while studying strategies for playing the game. It also involves enjoying the feeling of hitting the ball and of being on the tennis court-and everything else about the game. Do you love what you do, are you getting any satisfaction from it, I love what I do and I wake up every morning excite to face a new day. To help as much people I can.

4.

Surrender is the fourth stage. This is the place of intention. This is where your body and your mind aren’t running the show and your move into intent.” In the universe there is an immeasurable, indescribable force which shamans call intent, and absolutely everything that exist in the entire cosmos is attached to intent by a connecting link,” is the way Carlos Castaneda describes it. You relax, grab the trolley strap, and allow yourself to be carried by the same power that turns acorns into trees, blossoms into apples, and microscopic dots into humans. So grab that trolley strap and create your own unique connecting link. Absolutely everything in the entire cosmos includes you and your disciplined wise, loving self, and all of your thoughts and feelings. When you surrender, you lighten up and consult with your infinite soul. Then the power of intention becomes available to take you where ever you feel destined to go. I surrender my mind my body and all I have to my source (GOD), and he has always delivered what ever I asked. Because I realize a long time ago, that the more I learn is the less I realize I know. Surrendering my life to my Source (GOD) I was able to let go of my ego and learnt how to love myself; and be humbled by the little knowledge I posses.
