5 Tips On How To Build Self Confidence Today
http://www.profitingforward.com
There are very few people who could call themselves perfect and be right. Most of us need to build self confidence today, but the majority just either ignores the issues or concentrates on the negatives: stress, worry, jobs, money problems and relationship issues. Concentrating on these areas drains our self confidence rather than improving it.
If you could improve your self confidence you could make more money, look and feel better physically, or just be more relaxed with other people. Below there are five simple techniques that have been proved to help build self confidence today.
1. Talk to yourself. It sounds crazy but it works. All of us have a running monologue constantly in our heads, whether we realize it or not. Everything we see, hear, or touch sparks off an immediate dialog in our thoughts.
For those who lack confidence this monologue is filled with negative messages many of which are the negative side of adverts from television, radio, advertisement boarding’s, newspapers, and just overhearing other people talk.
These negative thoughts literally suck energy from our minds and bodies and block the flow of positive messages. We need to hear the positive messages as they will build self confidence today and raise our self esteem. Take control. Use your inner thoughts to talk to yourself in a positive manner, as often as you can.
As an example one of my regular sayings is "I like myself, I like myself, I like myself". I just repeat it for a couple of minutes. It sounds cheesy, but does build self confidence today – Try it. I bet that if you go to the mirror right now and repeat out loud "I like myself!" 50 times, it will be impossible to keep from smiling.
2. Dress as smartly and as classily as you can. You wont feel at your best if you don't look your best. You will be amazed at just how much more confidence you will have just looking your best. It just feels good when you are wearing your best clothes, are well groomed, and are surrounded by a clean environment. So what if it is Saturday, you need to build self confidence today not next week. Put on your nice clothes, get the car washed, style that hair! A hairdresser once told me "Everyday is show time!"
3. Increase your self esteem even more by giving thanks to what you are, how you look, and what you are doing. Say "thank you" to yourself to everything you see, all whom you meet, and each smile that you receive.
4. Stand or sit correctly: How you stand sends out a message to the World, and in turn, back to you. This results in improving how you feel about yourself and will build self confidence today and every day.
There is scientific evidence that shows how posture affects our mood. Do not slouch. Slouching produces a down mood. By slouching you are telling the world and yourself it doesn't matter, you don't matter. Standing tall and upright will actually lift your mood. Help build up your confidence by pulling back those shoulders, stop that slouch, and walk proud.
5. Smile. Just smile and things seem better somehow. Practice smiling regularly and get your facial muscles used to the physical act of smiling.
Go to the mirror and smile – make yourself. Not a grimace, but a proper smile. If you don't think you can try this:
1)Open your eyes as wide as you can – (try and get your eyebrows right up to you hair line)
2)Slightly open your mouth
3)Pull the corners of your mouth back towards your ears (If your not sure pull them back with your fingers so you know what it feels like then try again without your fingers).
4)Repeat 50 times. Get your facial muscles used to smiling and you will smile more and encourage smiles from others. This will make you feel happier and with that you'll build self confidence today.

Understanding Your Relationship with Money
http://www.profitingforward.com
Whenever we say that we want more money, less debt, or more
possessions, what we are really saying is that we want a feeling. Money and
possessions have no power. Power comes from the feeling we get from having
money and possessions. In order to determine your money values, you need
to determine what feelings are most important to you. If you want to
have a lot of money so that you can do what you like, when you like,
you're seeking a feeling of freedom -- this is your value. If you want to
live in a beautiful home and live an affluent lifestyle, then you want
to feel prosperous. If you want to know that there will always be enough
money to pay the bills, retire in peace, and know you'll never have to
worry about money again, you want to feel secure.
Recently, I moved into an old home, which I intend to renovate. My
house has a very old but functional kitchen, which I don't like much but
which I know I can live with for a while. This old kitchen has turned out
to be one of life's blessings in disguise as I've learned quite a lot
about money values from it.
When my eldest daughter, Lisa, first saw the kitchen, she said, "The
first thing you have to get rid of is that kitchen." Lisa likes nice
things and doesn't like to wait for them. My youngest daughter, Laura, is
more security conscious, hates spending money, and likes to save, and
she said, "There is nothing wrong with that kitchen. Why would you want
to change it?"
The kitchen evoked three different responses in three different people,
and that's the way it is with money. We are all different, and how we
earn, manage, spend, save, and invest our money depends on our money
values. The key to achieving your financial goals and living a life you
love is to know your money values, then find a way to manage your money
that respects these values.
Once I realized that my kitchen was a gauge for assessing money values,
I decided to make the most of it. I started listening to what people
were really telling me about their money values when they made any
comments. A carpenter commented, "Nice kitchen." When I asked him if he was
being sarcastic, he looked genuinely surprised, and I learned from
subsequent conversations that he is very security conscious. When my former
secretary, Lisa, came to visit and said, "Good size kitchen," I
recognized this statement for what it was--a nice, neutral comment that was
more about politeness than real feelings. So when I said that I disliked
it and intended replacing it, she said, "Well, I didn't want to be rude
by commenting on it." Another friend said, "Don't worry about the
inside, what's important is to get the outside of the house looking good
first."
What all these people told me is how they feel about money and what is
most important to them. The most common money values are freedom,
prosperity, and security. Although it is important to honor your money
values, it is equally important how you do this. When you pursue a feeling
to the exclusion of all else, you may find yourself in financial
difficulties.
It would be easy to assume that everybody with the same money values
has the same need, but they don't. One person's desire for freedom may
mean that he simply cannot work for an employer, while another person may
be quite happy working for an employer provided he is not tied down by
financial responsibilities. One person may want more money so he can do
what he likes, while another may not care about money but wants the
freedom to be creative.
To discover your own money values, ask yourself these questions: If I
was really happy and money was no object, what type of home would I live
in? Who would I live with? Where would I live? What work would I do?
What would I do with my leisure time? Who would I share my leisure time
with? What would I look like? When making your choices, write down
everything you think, and don't discount an idea because it seems too grand
or too small. Once you've completed this exercise, look to see if one
value is more dominant than any other. This is the value that you need
to honor in a responsible way. Usually, one value will stand out, but
this isn't always the case--some people can have two values that are
equally important to them, and in this case you need to honor both values.
All money values have a positive side and a negative side, and learning
to balance the two is the key to success. There's a lot we can learn
from security conscious people because they are good with money. On the
negative side, though, they can be overly cautious and as a result miss
out on opportunities. In contrast, if you value prosperity, you know
what's important to you, and quite simply, beauty is something that makes
you happy. However, this needs to be balanced with being responsible
and making choices that are going to help you over the longer term.
Whatever your money values, there is always a way to earn, manage, and
achieve goals in a way that honors what's most important to you. If you
are in a relationship with a partner who has different money values
than you, you have an opportunity to learn, grow, and prosper. Couples
with differing money values who work together are often the most
financially successful because they balance each other. Sometimes, in a
relationship, one person gives his power away to his partner, giving up his own
desires for the sake of harmony. In an equal relationship, both parties
have an equal say. If your partner refuses to respect your needs or to
take responsibility for himself, then you need to look at what
opportunity your relationship is presenting you with. You may need to love and
respect yourself more. You do this by setting standards and letting
other people know what you will and will not do.
You also need to be aware that if you are not prepared to change your
behavior in any way, and that applies to the really extravagant as well
as to the extremely security conscious, what is behind your behavior is
fear. In this case, money problems are just a symptom of a deeper issue
that needs to be dealt with.
Your money values hold the key to financial freedom, so rather than
cursing money, start loving it, and look for the gift in your current
situation.

The Two Choices We Face
http://www.profitingforward.com
Each of us has two distinct choices to make about what we will do with our lives. The first choice we can make is to be less than we have the capacity to be. To earn less. To have less. To read less and think less. To try less and discipline ourselves less. These are the choices that lead to an empty life. These are the choices that, once made, lead to a life of constant apprehension instead of a life of wondrous anticipation.
And the second choice? To do it all! To become all that we can possibly be. To read every book that we possibly can. To earn as much as we possibly can. To give and share as much as we possibly can. To strive and produce and accomplish as much as we possibly can. All of us have the choice.
To do or not to do. To be or not to be. To be all or to be less or to be nothing at all.
Like the tree, it would be a worthy challenge for us all to stretch upward and outward to the full measure of our capabilities. Why not do all that we can, every moment that we can, the best that we can, for as long as we can?
Our ultimate life objective should be to create as much as our talent and ability and desire will permit To settle for doing less than we could do is to fail in this worthiest of undertakings.
Results are the best measurement of human progress. Not conversation. Not explanation. Not justification. Results! And if our results are less than our potential suggests that they should be, then we must strive to become more today than we were the day before. The greatest rewards are always reserved for those who bring great value to themselves and the world around them as a result of whom and what they have become.

The Secrets of Networking Success
http://www.profitingforward.com
In network marketing or multi-level-marketing, your success depends on being able to generate sales and being able to invite new agents into the fold. These agents will, in turn, try to generate sales and recruit other agents. This has an exponential effect on the number of people who know about the product and buy the product as well. And the good thing is, since every on is an agent, everyone gets a piece of the profit pie. Moreover, you get huge discounts on the products you sell.
Sounds simple, huh? The truth is, if run properly, a network marketing scheme can be a very efficient, effective business for you and your agents. There have been numerous MLMs to grace the business scene. Amway is one of them. This company once reported sales amounting to over a billion dollars!
So, how do you obtain success at this type of business? Like every good businessperson, you will have to look beyond the get-rich-don't-sweat-just-look-at-the-money attitude. Good research will do wonders for one who wishes to get into this type of business. Don't get easily carried away by the hype that you can make millions by being an agent. Good MLMs or network businesses will detail how the agents obtained their success. They will also show you some of their agents who have already made it big. The key to success here is to be practical.
Be practical. First of all, you must make a proper assessment of how much you expect to earn from such a scheme. Don't sell your home and quit your job so that you can invest everything into your MLM and expect to earn millions. Many MLM agents who are successful work at their networking after their day job. This gives them the added bonus of having a stable income to fall on if they encounter days they do not make sales.
The biggest mistake beginners make is that they jump into the fray without any plans, with great expectations, and with little experience. The result of this is that when they fail to make a splash, they quickly lose enthusiasm and drop out. Always set realistic goals and when you accomplish them move to higher goals. For example, let us say you are new to network marketing. Try closing just one sale first. Just one. Don't jump in and say, I'll will convert them all to the networking religion. Be happy with your first sale if you do so. This means you are learning how to close deals. Afterwards, put two recruits as your goal. Do this until you can gradually build your number of agents.
Make sure to choose the MLM you are joining. Make sure the product they are selling is something you can believe in, and can easily convince others to sell. If you sign up for a networking scheme that sells space ship tickets, you are doomed to fail unless you have many friends who are interested in space ship tickets. Try products that others can bother to purchase: soap, toothpaste, detergent, and others. Always make the product you hawk match with your personal predilections. If you are so into vacuum cleaners, try selling them, you would make a better salesperson because of your interest in them.
In networking schemes, the most important asset you have which is of value to the organization is your contacts. These are the people who know you and trust you. These are the people who would buy products from you at a whim because they like you. This is their asset, and this is your asset too. Make good use of them. But never break their trust either.
Staying in the network business can be simple, straightforward, and financially rewarding. Those who persevere are greatly rewarded. You have the tools to make it big in this business, use them now!
