The Lazy Way To Create Effective Customer Relationships Using Email AutoResponders!
You want to build trust through constant communication. Constant communication is your ticket to building trust and credibility with your prospects and customers. Of all of your marketing efforts, this is possibly the most important key to your success. People are more apt to do business with you when they trust you. Offline though, this may be an expensive endeavor; especially when using postal mail. The Internet however, opens up a whole new playing field.
Use Sequential (Email) AutoResponders
You can automatically and almost effortlessly stay in touch with your prospects and customers for as long as you like using Sequential autoresponders. Almost effortlessly means, you do have to create some messages to send to your prospects, or at least have them created for you. All you have to do then is load your email autoresponder with your messages, set the delivery schedule, and voila; you're on your way to increased sales and profits.
Sequential autoresponders allow you to send a series of timed messages to your prospects and customers at set intervals. It's been proven that it takes approximately 7 contacts with your prospect before he/she will buy from you. This information has been re-hashed and regurgitated so much that it's a wonder many people don't know this already. At any rate, it's true.
Online, sequential autoresponders allow you to do this effortlessly, effectively and automatically. I like the word automatic. That means I don't have to touch it. I Set It And Forget It! ... And so can you. All you have to do is get your hands on a good autoresponder! There are many autoresponder services available on the Internet today, even my own, but more on that later.
Keep in mind, there are NO envelope, stamp, and envelope-stuffing costs associated with using sequential autoresponders, and no advertising costs. These costs can get outrageously high if you're running a sizeable campaign. With sequential autoresponders, you only have a nominal monthly service fee. If you've got a good product and marketing campaign, your sales will more than pay the measly cost of your autoresponder service, many times over.
Do Not SPAM Your Prospects!!!
Give, teach, and/or train your prospects with good quality content or just some product/service updates. It's okay to make offers inside your messages, but I would not do it in every single message. Why? Because, personally I hate being on lists that just promote - promote - promote! You can get promoted to anywhere online, so why would you want to see it in every single email message you get? There are some others that would dispute this, but it's your call. I know, "I", tend to stay subscribed to the lists that don't view me as simply another $dollar!
...So, what I am saying is, GIVE your prospects/customers something. Don't just take - take - take. Even if what you're giving is just Good-old, Rock-Solid information and advice, give it to them and make it as clear and as concise as possible.
Call Them to Action!
I know I just told you not to take-take-take from your prospects and customers, but I also told you, it's okay to make offers too - Heck! - that's the purpose of your autoresponder anyway - to make you money! You decide how often you want to make product/service offers. You can always ask your prospects to click through on a link, to call you, or email you to take advantage of your special offer at the end of each message; however, don't try to sell them a different product every time you contact them, unless this is the nature of your business.
Again, give your prospects and customers good information they can sink their teeth into, or maybe even give them some freebies (good ones) then, ask them to click through to your website or affiliate link, or ask them to fill out a form, email you, or call your office.
Happy E-mailing!

The Importance of Link popularity
http://www.profitingforward.com
Gaining high link popularity is perhaps the single most important factor when trying to reach the top page on the major search engines. It appears all the large SE’s are using link popularity as a way of calculating the importance of a page, thus giving it a higher rank.
Some people in the SEO business argue that link popularity is widely overrated, and are instead claiming the relevance of the link to be of much more importance when calculating the final SE position. According to this theory, a few links from highly relevant pages would mean much more than many links from pages with lower relevance to your website.
Other SEO theorists argue link popularity to be the single most important factor, and are often using nothing but the anchor text (the word or phrase actually linked) to target their keywords and phrases. According to this theory, one could reach a high SE position by a massive amount of links with keyword rich anchor texts.
Using any of these techniques will surely raise both your link popularity, and your SE position, but I see little reason not to go both ways. If getting many links would improve your ranks, and a few relevant would as well – getting them all would surely improve your ranks even further.
Link popularity, and links of lower relevance, can serve as a major source of search engine traffic for some – often larger – sites. A large site is bound to have quite a few topics, and even more possible phrases people could use to find them. With many links, your will have some words or phrases targeted by accident, bringing you more of those precious visitors. Generally, the more subjects you cover, the better you will serve from high link popularity, even though all sites benefit from more backlinks. Be sure to use keyword rich anchor text, as that’s your only way of targeting specific words.
Using only a few relevant links will naturally only boost the SE positions for words and phrases used on those pages, preferably near your link. If you instead are building mini- or micro sites, targeting only one, or a few specific keywords, relevance would be a much faster way to improve your ranks for those searches. A few articles containing your keywords, along with a few good links, might be enough to get you on top for non competitive search terms. For more lucrative areas, you will need to work harder.
Getting relevant links tend to much more time consuming, as this often is done manually. Searching the web for potential link partners tends to take some time, but done correctly, it’s a powerful way of marketing your site. Finding links of low, or no relevance can be done in a much faster manner, but the amount of links needed is much higher. Depending on niche, size of site and other factors, choosing one way or the other might work; but using both methods will get you higher positions in every major search engine.

The Advantages of Using Directories to Build "Link Pop"
http://www.profitingforward.com
Link popularity, often called "link pop," can be a tricky thing. In the good old days, search engines determined a site's page ranking by the number of times the keywords appeared in the text. Soon webmasters learned that if they squeezed an obnoxious amount of keywords into their site's text, the site would eventually gain a very high page ranking.
Since search engines like Google gain users by providing quality webpage matches, they had to get smarter than the web developers. Google decided that instead of keyword match-ups only, page ranking would also be based on pages that had the most links to them. In theory, a website that has a bunch of other pages linking to it must be good, right? Wrong.
Webmasters would create these links any way that they could. "Link Farms" began developing and cluttering up the web. A link farm is essentially a page with a gazillion links on it, often in no particular order. These pages were virtually useless to web users, yet web designers were using them to gain better page rankings.
The fact is that search engines aren't designed for web developers. They are designed for web users. Thus, when the "best" sites weren't showing up first, Google had to try yet another strategy.
This time links would be categorized. The best kind of link is an "Inbound Link". An Inbound Link means another site connects to your site. This usually happens because the webmaster of the site feels that the information on your site is valuable to his or her readers. Your page ranking will improve noticeably if the website has a higher page ranking than yours and if there is obvious relevance between the two sites.
An "Outbound Link" means that your site offers a link to another site. Outbound links don't hurt your popularity if they are relevant sites, but it is better to limit your outbound links to your absolute favorites. It is always better to have more inbound links than outbound ones.
Then we have "Reciprocal" and "Non-Reciprocal" links. A reciprocal link means that two sites connect to each other. A non-reciprocal link is a one-way link. Search engines are able to tell the difference between reciprocal and non-reciprocal links. Obviously non-reciprocal links are more credible because there is no direct benefit to the linker, and will thus increase your link popularity.
In order to create "link pop," you should focus on creating as many inbound non-reciprocal links as possible. One of the best ways to do this is through link directories. Essentially, a link directory provides users with a collection of links organized by topic. There are thousands of directories to choose from. DMOZ and Yahoo! are the most heavily weighted.
Directories exist solely to provide users with valuable resources. They are edited and organized by humans, so appearing in a directory can be a measure of a site's worth. If your website is listed, it is viewed by users as a credible source.
Get your link on as many directories as you can! There are two benefits. It will generate targeted traffic to your site, and it can improve your page ranking. When choosing a directory, look for the ones that allow you to add your own title and/or keywords. Choose directories that have less than 50 listings per page, and make sure the addition can improve your page ranking.
The submission process can be frustrating and time-consuming. The upside is, once your link is posted your "link pop" can shoot through the roof.
